When down-on-his-luck George Washburn visits a historic New Jersey museum on New Year’s Eve, he doesn’t expect his life to change—let alone the course of American history. But thanks to a freak cosmic event triggered by the mysterious Comet 241, George is hurled back right into the chaos surrounding Major General Benedict Arnold’s controversial court martial. Mistaken for the military leader of the time, he must navigate the rising tensions and loyalties shift of the diverse ensemble of rebels, rogues, and revolutionaries, each with their own secrets and stakes in the fight. Together, they must unmask an imposter, stop a plot that could fracture the fledgling nation, and somehow find a way to send George back to the 21st century.
